The AO is a medically-guided, not-for-profit organisation, a global network of surgeons, and the world's leading education, innovation, and research organisation specialising in the surgical treatment of trauma and musculoskeletal disorders. We have a global network of over 520,000 health care professionals. Each year we offer over 870 educational events around the world, supported by nearly 8,000 faculty members and attended by over 82,600 participants. We have around 20,000 surgeon members working in the fields of trauma, spine, craniomaxillofacial, veterinary, and reconstructive surgery.

**In this role you will be required to**:
Key Responsibilities
- Implement initiatives developed by the central Community Development (CD) at regional or/and local level
- Provide input from the region into the central ND
- Manage and maintain social media presence across key digital channels within the region
- Implement central CD growth & retention strategies for membership in the region
- Implement and handle the Fellowship programs and centers for AO Spine in line with the newly developed approach (temporary task until the Spine fellowships are taken over by the central ND)
- Provide regular updates of CD programs to respective AO officers and Regional Managers
- Plan and implement AO presence at conferences and congresses in the region in close alignment with central ND
- Plan and implement Community development online events
- Drive the implementation of myAO across the different networks in the region

**To master this challenge you have**:
Educational requirements
- University Master or Bachelor degree in relevant field (e.g. communications, project management, business) or higher Education „Fachausweis“
Job experience
- Proven record of professional experience in project management
- Experience in medical devices or healthcare sector is an advantage
Key skills
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders on all levels
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to prioritize work plans and handle multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines and sudden changes
- Reliable, proactive and problem-solving attitude with excellent organizational skills
- Passionate about continuous improvement, entrepreneurial and creative mindset to further develop ND
Language skills
- Fluent written and verbal English. Knowledge of other relevant languages in the region are an asset
