About the team

In this role you will work within the Heat-Not-Burn Business Planning team, supporting the Global Category team on financials, volumes & analytics.

Who we’re looking for
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
- Solid understanding of financial statements and key financial metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in English)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capacity to organize and prioritize work independently to meet changing requirements in high-paced environment

Roles & Objectives

PMI is seeking a motivated and analytical intern to join our HnB Business Planning team for a six-month internship. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial & business planning and analysis within a dynamic and forward-thinking business unit. The intern will support the team in various planning, reporting, and analysis activities, contributing to the strategic decision-making process.

In this role you will work within the Heat-Not-Burn Business Planning team. You will collaborate with colleagues across functions (Finance, Supply Chain, Operations & Commercial) to achieve best-in-class outcomes for the company.

The intern will work on the following topics:

- Financial and Business analysis and Reporting:

- Perform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support the development of financial models to project future performance.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Aid in the preparation and consolidation of budgets and forecasts for the Heat-Not-Burn business unit.
- Analyze budget submissions and assist in aligning them with strategic goals.
- Business Planning Support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for business planning.
- Support the development of business cases and financial projections for new initiatives.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support various business decisions.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
