Medical Affairs Manager - Lung Cancer in Oncology

Location: Baar, Switzerland

**About the role**:
In this function you demonstrate scientific value by strategic partnering with in
- and external stakeholders, by understanding and anticipating their needs and by translating them proactively into actions. You support the strategic planning and delivery of all medical affairs initiatives in specific brands to support the local objectives. Next to that you help the cross-functional team who is active in the Therapeutic Area of Lung Cancer to ensure that they optimally give to their tasks.

You stimulate the team’s contribution to the clinical development and medical evidence generation & and build confidence for our products to advise clinical practice with a patient centric approach.

**Your main tasks**
- Responsible for integrated medical affairs plan and associated budget
- Launch and prelaunch activities and life cycle management (LCM) of new & growth products
- Act as medical reviewer for activities and promotional materials in accordance with compliance guidelines
- Collaborate closely with BU, market access, regulatory, medical information, patient safety and clinical trials unit
- Ensure scientific and medical accuracy of outgoing materials, research papers and other reports, and may have sign off authority
- Develop and improves professional relationships with HCPs/KEEs, professional societies and patient organisations.
- Generate product related insights by regular peer to peer visits (20% time in field) and provides those to relevant internal partners
- Coordinate and conducts medical education, scientific exchange, and advisory board meetings
- Define and delivers training on medical background of the product
- Evaluate externally provided research (ESR-)proposals as part of local review and evaluation group and supports conduction of such projects according to milestones set
- Provide scientific and strategic input to the respective MSL activities. Can take up mentorship of MSL
- Works closely with senior practitioners to develop the marketing direction of a brand in a local market
- Ensure own scientific knowledge of best practices and new relevant developments are up-to-date

**Your Profile**
- Professional experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry, preferentially as MSL, or MAM or within Medical Affairs
- Experience in oncology or immunology will be a plus; experience within Clinical research will also be considered
- University degree in a health-related scientific field, such as MD or PhD
- Communicative competence and presentation skills
- ** Proficiency in English and German, French will be a plus**
