Data Scientist - Travel and Flights

Then please read on We are looking for a **Data** **Scientist** to be based in our headquarters in **Zurich**, Switzerland.

Join us to help us analyze terabytes of flight related data to pinpoint opportunities and pain-points and change the way we think and talk about our work.

**The role**
- Design end-to-end solutions to create recommendations based on ML models.
- Translate business needs to project objectives to guide data exploration, modelling, implementation and monitoring
- Build production-ready advanced analytics/machine learning models assisting users with complex problem solving
- Lead cross-departmental developments efforts combining multiple business domains
- Evaluate and maintain machine learning services over time
- Analyze ad-hoc problem statements to recommend new strategic efforts and inform decision makers

**Required** **skills for this role**:

- Good communication and time management skills
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills
- 3-5 years of experience in data science or ML related roles
- Experienced with programming languages such as **SQL**, **Python**, Scala, Spark or R
- Bonus - Special proficiency in airline and Travel industry analytics
