**Your role**

Are you passionate about private markets? Are you an analytical thinker who can digest qualitative and quantitative information to build a compelling investment thesis? If you motivated and driven by responsibility you could be who we are seeking to:

- conduct research and analysis on private markets (private equity and private debt investments) and communicate analysis in written reports ranging from educational reports on the asset class to deep dive primary research.
- develop actionable investment views and themes within the context of a multi-asset class portfolio.
- advance the CIO research and investment framework via the development of quantitatively backed capital market assumptions for private equity, private debt, and private real assets.
- collaborate with CIO peers and other Wealth Management teams to grow and support UBS' global private markets investment offering.
- communicate your views on private markets and the wider UBS House View to various stakeholders both internally and externally.

The CIO WM Global Investment Office is responsible for the House View and investment strategy for UBS Wealth Management clients. You will be working in the Alternatives team within the CIO Global Asset Allocation unit in Zurich, a diverse group of experts that collaborate with all functions across UBS. As the dedicated Strategist for Private Markets, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of this space within Global Wealth Management.

**Your expertise**
- several years of relevant experience at a top tier investment or consulting firm
- deep experience with private market return modeling and forecasting
- solid understanding of portfolio construction, ideally with exposure across a range of strategies rather than as a specialist.
- strong analytical skills
- thoughtful, analytical and intellectually curious
- known for your communication and presentation skills
- able to collaborate with internal and external partners
