Macro Strategist Asset Management Insurance
Aufgaben
Based on macroeconomic research, analyze developments for the investment portfolios of an international insurance company / Make recommendations on cross-asset investments, including economic indicators, financial market analysis, and statistical analysis as well as social and political factors that could affect economic success of the investment portfolios / Analyze economic indicators and the behavior of investment products to identify trends and developments in the financial market providing predictive macroeconomic forecasts and scenarios / Analyze financial market, economic growth, inflation, etc. in order to develop highly profitable investment strategies and make predictions about future profitability / Analyze with statistical methods the risks associated with investments and ensure successful decisions for the investments with the analysis, interpretation and organization of data / Contribute significantly to cross-asset class investment considerations with the recommendation to achieve above-average portfolio returns / Identify and develop highly profitable strategies making successful recommendations for investments possible / Providing advice for customized asset allocation solutions / Present the asset allocation strategy and the performance of the portfolios to the investment committee and Board members of the Group / Ad hoc projects, ongoing communication to the shareholders and development of models.
Qualifikation
Master or Ph.D. in Economics, Econometrics or Quantitative Finance / Sound experience in macroeconomic and econometric analysis / Understanding the drivers of financial markets / Understanding investment products especially equities, bonds, FX and funds / Experience in data analysis with econometric and machine learning methods / Good analytical skills, especially in financial market analyses and risk management / Flair for text editing / Good presentation skills / Understanding of databases (MS-Access, SQL) and MS-Excel / English, German a plus.
