**About this Position**

We are passionate about developing the next generation of platforms and software solutions for healthcare. Our vision is to offer validated, scalable, and secure digital health and precision medicine solutions that meet significant unmet needs for healthcare stakeholders (e.g., patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals). We are building and studying innovations that aim to facilitate earlier and more accurate diagnoses, monitor symptom and disease progression, and treat medical conditions.

In order to achieve this objective, we have a new PHC Innovation Management capability focused on capturing and creating value at the Pharma PHC portfolio as well as supporting our Roche global partners who are developing personalised healthcare solutions. As a result, the team will optimise the ability to innovate in the personalised healthcare space, allocate resources smartly to power these innovations, and enable informed and evidence-led decisions for resourcing and investment decisions. The PHC SBE and Strategy Lead positions (2 positions) are central to strategy by contributing to the development and management of the following PHC Innovation Management pillars:
Value Capture - leading the capture, analysis, and presentation of portfolio-wide insights to inform investment and resourcing decisions that help position the portfolio for success.

Value Creation - leading the identification of opportunities for portfolio-wide value creation through knowledge and resource management and driving strategic decision making to manage risks and reduce uncertainty.

Value Optimisation - leading the co-creation and implementation of a bespoke market strategy that supports decision making across our Pharma phc portfolio to maintain a competitive edge.

These roles also help other Roche enterprise partners in developing similar portfolio management strategies and tools.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Pharma phc product & portfolio governance and resource management**
- Support the development and running of a human-centred Pharma PHC innovation management service model to guide Pharma PHC teams through the stages of the innovation funnel and portfolio management requirements (e.g. portfolio entry, validation checks, portfolio committee meetings, Tune-Ins, etc.)
- Work with support functions (PSE, Procurement, GP3, etc.) to assess resource needs across the portfolio and identify knowledge gaps to help guide resource requests, inform recruitment, and competence management in a complex and flat organisational structure
- Integrate quantitative and qualitative analysis of business, market and competitive landscapes into portfolio strategy in collaboration with various partners across and outside of Roche

**Identify product & portfolio risks and opportunities**
- Collaborate with support functions to ensure the smooth running of our portfolio management framework, associated business processes, and capture agendas/minutes from portfolio committee meetings and validation check meetings
- Act as an advisor to Pharma PHC teams on how to navigate the innovation funnel stages, identifying and acting on opportunities for value creation and process improvement across the innovation process
- Liaise with GPS colleagues to conduct technology watch/search, patent analysis, business intelligence CRM, geo-marketing campaigns to benchmark Pharma PHC portfolio performance with market players
- Support development of Pharma PHC business model and value proposition through identification of opportunities to create value across our portfolio

**Measure pipeline performance to inform strategic decisions**
