**Role Purpose**

Create value for Sandoz globally by providing strategic and operational advice to senior management, the P&O organization and other key stakeholders in and across the full spectrum of P&O legal matters (policies, processes, contracts, litigations).

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Provide strategic and operational legal guidance and support to senior Group and P&O management on global P&O programs and projects (e.g. new Performance Management), including management of related legal risks
- Advise on SEC employment contracts as needed
- Legal responsibility for the annual Novartis Compensation Report to investors
- Advise management on employee representation matters in close collaboration with the country coordination and employee relations team (e.g. Euroforum)
- Lead the global P&O Legal Network/ Practice team
- Handle matters beyond P&O Legal as assigned

**Minimum requirements**
- Qualified lawyer & qualified attorney-at-law with postgraduate degree (Ph.D. and/or LL.M.).
- English; German as additional language is of advantage
- Extensive legal experience (12+ years), ideally in Pharma sector and/or in a top tier law firm.
- Extensive legal experience in HR legal matters, specifically in multinational context and matters
- Experience in leadership and interactions with senior management.
- Results driven, open minded with strong communication skills
- Global mindset and understanding
