**Position**:Clinical Operations Lead**

**Job Description - Purpose/Objective of the Position**

Provide operational oversight and leadership for the execution of our Late-Development portfolio of work (both BMS Sponsored and non-BMS Sponsored)

**Key Responsibilities and Major Duties**
- Senior-level clinical operational leader who drives and leads the successful execution of all operational components of a large-scale global program using strong project management, leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills required.
- Accountable for operational execution to support a diverse portfolio of work across BMS and Non-BMS programs. Proactively addresses and manages risks and issue escalation.
- May contribute to the development of clinical operational strategy.
- When appropriate, develops operational plans aligned with Medical, Safety, or HEOR objectives for Late-Development work.
- Accountable for collaboration and standards of indications in line with registrational and earlier-phase development teams.
- Represents GDO Strategy organization as a core member within applicable Medical/HEOR Teams.
- Serves as key GDO Late-Development operational point of contact for the programs and respective clinical trials.
- Drives the development of Late-Development operational program level documents.
- Inclusive in communicating strategy and decision making across a matrix team.
- Demonstrates proactive, financial stewardship of their clinical programs while effectively leading a large global team of individuals assigned to the program.
**Supervisory Responsibility**
Provides Matrix Management oversight across all operational support team(s).

Medical Affairs Team(s), Field Medical, HEOR Team(s), Country Medical Heads/Directors, Development Team (DT), Medical Surveillance Team (MST), Global Regulatory Sciences and Biometrics (GRS+B), Translational Medicine (TM), All GCO Functional Groups, Clinical Supply Operations (CSO), Global Quality and Regulatory Compliance (GQRC), External Thought Leaders, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), Advocacy Groups, Investigational Sites, Investigators of Investigator Sponsored Research, External Vendors

**Degree Requirements**
- BA/BS or equivalent degree in relevant discipline Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of global experience in clinical drug development or other related experience.
- Broad clinical operational experience (registration and/or post-approval is a plus).

- Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH, drug development process, and other relevant guidelines for clinical research activities.
- Experience leading global clinical research activities.
- Therapeutic Area knowledge.

**Travel Requirements**

Domestic and International travel may be required.
