We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Regulatory Affairs (m/w/d) with a specialized focus on the cosmetics industry. As the Head of Regulatory, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all regulatory aspects related to cosmetic product registration, safety adjustments, compliance with cosmetic laws, and ensuring the highest standards of quality management, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). In this position, you will manage a team of 5 people.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher degree in a relevant scientific field, such as chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related disciplines.
- More than 10 years of progressive experience in regulatory affairs or combined quality and regulatory, with a specific focus on cosmetic product registration and safety adjustments.
- Knowledge of regional and international cosmetic regulations and guidelines, including FDA, EU Cosmetics Regulation etc.
- Expertise in quality management systems, particularly GMP, within the cosmetics industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability for regulatory compliance and product safety.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in liaising with health authorities and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections is a plus.
- A proactive and adaptable mindset, staying ahead of regulatory changes and guiding the organization through potential challenges.

- Fluent in German and English

**Your responsibilities**:

- Regulatory Strategy and Compliance: Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory strategies for cosmetic products, ensuring compliance with relevant regional and international cosmetic regulations and guidelines.
- Cosmetic Product Registration: Lead the registration process for new cosmetic products and maintain the registration status of existing products in various markets.
- Safety Adjustments: Manage safety assessment processes for cosmetic products, including conducting risk assessments, evaluating adverse events, and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain product safety and compliance.
- Cosmetic Law Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and changes in cosmetic laws, regulations, and guidelines, ensuring the company's practices align with the most current requirements.
- Quality Management: Establish and oversee robust quality management systems, ensuring adherence to GMP standards and other quality requirements for cosmetic product manufacturing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and production teams to ensure that cosmetic products meet all regulatory and quality standards throughout the development and manufacturing processes.
- Regulatory Submissions: Prepare and submit necessary regulatory documentation to health authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate product approvals, certifications, and market access.
- Regulatory Audits: Coordinate and lead regulatory audits and inspections, ensuring that the company is well-prepared and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of regulatory professionals, providing guidance, support, and expertise to ensure the successful execution of regulatory activities.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the regulatory affairs department, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
