Job Title: Digital Solution Architect - Demand & Supply Chain Planning

**What You’ll do**

Do you want to play a pivotal part throughout the entire digital systems development lifecycle? Can you take a driving role in translating business strategy and your vision for the target landscape in a technology roadmap and set of projects? Then this is the job for you

Our Digital team doesn’t just see the future - they create it. As a Digital Solution Architect you’ll be a key part of our diverse digital workforce and facilitate the development of strategic technology plans with regular annual updates, and ensure that Enterprise, Applications, Data, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity architecture is up to date and evolves within the strategic technology context. You will collaborate closely with the Digital Architects, product managers/owners, development squads and other stakeholders to shape the growth of our company.

**Your Key-responsibilities**
- Contribute to defining the overarching Fit-for-Future Technology & Data Strategy and drive its execution across DSM;
- Accountable for the technology landscape for your respective domain ensuring it is optimized to meet the and deliver on the required capabilities and goals of the organization;
- Continuously and proactively assess your respective technology landscape to identify opportunities and risks to meeting the organization’s requirements and determine options and recommendations for the target landscape;
- Define, coach and promote development standards, reusability and delivery methodologies;
- Propose an appropriate end-to-end solution design based on the business requirements (functional and non
- functional) considering the available (digital) solutions, the sustainability and scalability of the design within the architectural landscape;
- Provide assistance in technical escalations that cannot be solved by the team;
- Conduct a system architecture evaluation and collaborate with project management and agile development teams to improve the architecturel
- Balance the solution direction based on value, effectiveness and cost efficiency.

The Digital Solution Architect is positioned in the Architecture Chapter within the Group Digital Services (GdS) department, Digital Strategy & Technology Cluster. The Digital Solution Architect reports to the Chapter Lead.

**You Bring**
- Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of the IT software capabilities;
- Excellent knowledge of the main processes and business capabilities in the demand & supply chain planning domains;
- Bachelor’s ++/Master degree in IT related study;
- Knowledge of development best practices, new trends and roadmaps of the (digital) solutions/technologies;
- Experience in understanding the stakeholder landscape and management;
- Experience in contributing in roadmap and product vision discussions;
- Experience with Agile development and Agile collaboration tooling (i.e. Jira, Confluence and CI/CD tooling;
- 5 - 10 years of experience in IT consulting functions, of which.
- 3 years of experience in functional and technical consultancy for IT systems;
- 3 years of experience in engineering and software architecture design.
