Business Project Manager

As a Glencore Risk Business Project Manager, you will be the voice of the Risk team in ensuring the successful design, rollout, and implementation of project-based activities. You will drive the implementation of any projects aimed at continually improving the Marketing Division, ensuring any changes to the business are delivered smoothly and with a positive impact.

**The main tasks and responsibilities include**
- Act as the global ambassador for Market Data (and Risk) for all Projects and Business Change activity
- Act as a liaison between IT and the Business being able to clearly articulate Business priorities and acting as the “Voice of the Business”, ensuring Risk views and priorities are well articulated
- Actively build strong relationships across the Risk team which spans multiple geographies in order to gather and represent their views
- Facilitate strong levels of engagement with employees across the business and encourage their participation in embracing and embedding change, through coordinating communications, training, user testing and changes to business processes and procedures
- Proactively probe for continuous improvement opportunities in processes and work with the Business and IT colleagues to make necessary changes
- Actively scan the market and industry for potential solutions and enhanced ways of working to meet Glencore's evolving business needs, seeking guidance from the Stakeholders as appropriate
- Act independently with entrepreneurial spirit, being largely self-sufficient, however seeking review and input when necessary or upon the identification and escalation of any major issues or project blockers
- Any ad hoc duties that may be required from time to time
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in complex, interdependent scenarios and situations
- Good communicator, clearly articulating key outputs and next step
- Experience of documenting processes and controls
- Experience of developing training and communications
- Ability to create high quality deliverables and outputs with sharp attention to detail
- Good influencer with the added confidence to challenge as appropriate
- Ability to pick up new concepts quickly
- Pro-active in approach (e.g. spots issues and challenges and actively works to address these)

**Qualifications and requirements**
- Experience / understanding of the trade lifecycle and ideally experience on implementing Data management improvements in these environments
- Experience working within Risk for a physical commodity trader and/ or within consultancy / business change within this industry
- Knowledge of key business change methodologies and approaches, including effective stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering and definition and business readiness planning and execution
- Excellent English skills (spoken and written), further languages are of advantage
- Current SWISS B/C Permit or passport holder of EU
