**About the Role**

You are passionate about data, willing to further develop in data governance which is a central pillar of Swiss Re's Group Data Strategy. You have proven knowledge of data management, data modelling, data governance and the role it will play in improving an enterprise's ability to curate its data. You have strong communication and relationship building skills to establish and foster stakeholder networks. You will be embedded in the CDO Office Centre of Expertise (CoE) and work directly with the CoE lead and members to support driving the Swiss Re Group Data Governance and therefore enhance data quality.

Your main responsibilities:
- Drive the Swiss Re data governance practice by steering data quality principles and the Group data governance frameworks- Enable Swiss Re business in building and strengthening domain data governance practices while ensuring oneness- Own Swiss Re standards on data management and ensure their implementation incl. internal auditable controls and review processes- Supervise group-wide data activities to connect the dots to provide insights and eventually drive data governance together with the Group Chief Data Officer- Drive data ownership while effectively engaging with the business to identify business data owners and deliver training and support- Enable implementation of the group-wide metadata catalog working closely to IT and architecture teams across Swiss Re

**About the Team**

The CDO Office CoE is responsible, among others, for data governance. Its mission is to enhance the value of Swiss Re data by continuous improvement of its quality as well as by enabling the future data citizens.

**About You**

We are happy to meet you if you:
- Successfully completed a university degree preferably in computer science, information management, data management- Gained relevant professional work experience (5+ years) with a strong focus on data management and data governance, preferably in financial services / insurance- Have a basic understanding of the reinsurance / insurance business- Are flexible and used to be driven by business demand based on data quality improvements needs- Possess solid analytical skills based on hard and soft data- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills dealing with people and establishing relationships with senior stakeholders- Are dedicated to the Swiss Re’s new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of silos using agile methodologies- Are naturally curious, enthusiastic, and proactive- Like to work customer centric and independently within a dynamic team
