We are looking for a seasoned personality who can hardly be outdone in this specialist field and who independently and actively seeks the best solutions at all times.

Your tasks
- Manage own portfolio of assigned direct material category and represent material group within the Medela organization
- Act as Business Partner to key stakeholders (R&D, Product Marketing, IT etc.) as well as operations (Production, SCM, Quality)
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for electronic components on the worldwide market
- Active benchmark of sourcing markets around the globe, but with special focus on Eastern Europe, China and/or Asia Pacific region
- Realize a measurable value in recurring and P&L effective cost reductions per year in the dedicated spend categories

**Profile**:

- Around 10 years in-depth strategic and operational Sourcing experience with a solid working knowledge of global category management
- Master degree in Engineering, business administrator or similar
- Good knowledge of production techniques and processes
- Good knowledge in SAP P2P is beneficial
- Ability to work in a regulated environment
- Fluency in English and very good level of German
- Extrovert personality with good facilitation and negotiation skills enabling to network and proactively influence people
