Database Administrator

**The Database Administrator will be responsible for**:
Installing and configuring new Database Servers.
Monitoring and improving performance by acting on both system configuration and identifying improvements and evolutions to be made.
Management and administration of Oracle database systems (single and clustered) in the operations, test and development environments.
Management and data migration to Opensource systems such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Identification and implementation of optimizations such as index insertion, table reorganization, introduction of partitioning, query analysis and optimization, etc.

**Requirements**:
Proven and recent experience as Oracle Database Administrator (installation, configuration, administration).
Basic knowledge of the Linux operating system.
Interest in OpenSource database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
Knowledge of spoken and written Italian language

**Will be considered as a plus**:
Oracle certifications
Experience in Enterprise environments
Knowledge of an Oracle Exadata environment
Knowledge of any languages other than Italian.
