Proclinical is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our clients team as a **Project Procurement Lead **for CAPEX projects.

This is a **12 Month** position with the possibility of extension.

The Project Procurement Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing procurement activities related to designated investment projects. This role involves coordinating the planning and execution of projects at the Visp site and potentially at other sites. The Project Procurement Lead holds a strategic role in procurement for construction projects involving manufacturing, laboratory, and office facilities, ranging from 5 to 500 million in value.
- Develop a comprehensive Procurement Execution Strategy and coordinate procurement activities for assigned investment projects.
- Take end-to-end commercial ownership of procurement, expediting, contract management, and contract closeout for various goods and services, including process equipment, electrical equipment, lab equipment, construction services, and consulting.
- Actively manage the Procurement Master Plan (PMP) throughout project execution to ensure timely reporting, risk identification, and risk mitigation.
- Engage with key third-party collaborators, including EPCM, EPC, or main trade and equipment suppliers.
- Over 10 years of experience in capex project and procurement management, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
- Experience in plant construction and a solid background in procurement, sales, and contract management.
- Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Strong team player with the ability to work efficiently in matrix organizations and interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent business mindset, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative and resilience with the ability to thrive in an exciting, ever-changing environment.
- Technical training (ETH or FH) or a similar background in process, chemical, mechanical, civil, or plant engineering is advantageous.

**Job Types**: 100%, Temporary / Staffing
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: CHF80.00 - CHF100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 41 per week
