**About the Role**
Are you an Agile enthusiast with a penchant for shaping a vision and creating roadmaps, driving delivery and maximizing the value of products delivered by your team? In short: are you an enthused Product Owner? Then you might well be the person we're searching for
As a Product Owner you will develop products and services to above scope within the existing defined business model. You will in close collaboration with the squad members prioritize and manage what needs to be done and by when to deliver state-of-the-art data exchange and integration as well as reporting capabilities to the enterprise, and keep existing solutions fit for the future, by constantly updating them with the newest and most relevant technologies.
You will be a servant leader with no direct line authority over squad members, and will closely coordinate with your Product Area Lead (PAL, tribe lead) to stay aligned on business goals and make sure your Squad is progressing and delivering against them to meet clients' requirements, needs and expectations.
You will also represent the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, and make sure that Squad members understand customer needs and preferences. To get this work done, you will maintain and prioritize the backlog of user stories that your Squad members will use to plan their work and deliver on target. Through your passion for the products delivered by your Squad, you aim at maximizing their value(s) to customers and seek for potential new customers customers. Clearly, continuous improvement and delivery of new capabilities enabling business to act fast and focused on market opportunities will be key in the role.
Your main responsibilities:
- To set the overall vision to direct and prioritize the order of work, to maximize value within constraints of resources, strategy and compliance, and to do so with an entrepreneurial mindset- To incubate and commercialize innovative, disruptive platform solutions- To co-create, prioritize and communicate platform architectures, product roadmaps and high-level Squad backlogs using iterative techniques with feedback loops, to provide transparency of the backlog and align squad members with all stakeholders- To create and communicate financial forecasts, business cases and value propositions- To balance & manage technical debt and customer value, and deliver to Squad mission and objectives in shared accountability with the Product Area Lead- To ensure voice of the customer is heard and focused on by the Squad- To ensure cooperation between Squads, manage interdependencies, and in close collaboration with the Scrum Master remove impediments and create an environment for people to excel- To architect sound, scalable and maintainable solutions that can be used cross-domain by all clients- To realize/implement common, shared components and solutions for data exchange and data integration, and to consolidate existing solutions that offer overlapping capabilities
**About you**
As Product Owner in EDI team, you have/bring with you:
- deep understanding of and expertise/expert knowledge in the Product Domain (i.e. in data integration, data transformation/ETL and data exchange solutions, products and implementations, as well as proven data, analytical & conceptual skills and capabilities)- qualification as CSPO / PSPO (certified/professional scrum product owner) or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge (i.e. at least five years of experience as a Product Owner or in an equivalent role)- degree in a related field or long-standing relevant experience in this technology domain- profound experience in architecting solutions, devising integrations, and realizing/implementing Cloud-based architectures- experience understanding customer needs and eliciting clients' requirements, strong business & financial acumen and strategic mindset- strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence in servant leadership style, an
