What will you work on at Hilton Geneva?

Reporting to the Hilton Geneva Finance Director and to our Hilton Europe Procurement team, you support meeting the Hotel's business goals in supply management as well as supporting the Europe Supply Management team in achieving overall strategic objectives on the Switzerland scope.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the coordination of purchasing of goods and services based on the purchasing provisions and regulations of Hilton Supply Management. In addition, you will be in particular focused on account management as part of our business development approach towards HWW Franchisees and 3 rd parties.

You will be performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
**HSM Switzerland Management**:

- Benchmark the national and regional suppliers markets and identify new opportunities
- Negotiate prices, ensuring that volume deals and standardization of specifications are agreed whenever possible, covering the maximum number of hotels and conforming to Hilton Supply Management policies & Laws
- Interview and select new vendors, using the help of specialists if required
- Seek new opportunities and source new products
- Analyzing of data for buyers in the tender/pre
- and post-bid process
- Create and maintain Supply Management reporting models for analyzing data
- Examine data to determine opportunities or problem areas in order to provide feedback for improvement/development
- Complete action spend analysis and monthly trend reporting as directed
- Gather appropriate data or information from all relevant sources, e.g. Sales Force, records, files, databases, Birch Street, client information. etc.
- Develops and maintains Supply management databases and information systems including Birch Street & Sales force on a timely and accurate basis. In addition, provides regular departmental correspondence and information upon request, including Supplier notifications
- Maintains departmental systems for filing and procedural documentation including Contracts management across all client base.
- Maintain and monitor BirchStreet catalogues and purchasing statistics per hotel on a regional level
- Ensure all enquiries within specific areas of responsibility are responded to promptly with satisfactory resolution
- Keep abreast of delivery terms and conditions of nominated suppliers

**Hilton Geneva Procurement Management**:

- Manage a local team of two purchasing agents in charge of Hilton Geneva Supply and logistics operations.
- Ensure Supply procedures and standards are well implemented by all departments in the hotel
- Manage trainings and updates to all departments on supply topics
- Research and respond to information requests from all departments
- Monitor and maintain quality of products and services provided by suppliers
- Ensure the supply challenges of the hotel are efficiently dealt with
- Ensure suppliers and cross functional departments enquiries are efficiently managed

For this specific job opportunity, we would value the following skills, experience and attitude:

- Master's degree in Supply Management / Purchasing / Procurement with at least 5-year of relevant growing experience in a similar role
- Fluent in French, German and English is mandatory
- Experience in analytical environment, understanding of statistical analysis techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain analytical topics to others
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Highly numerate and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach to effectively handle multiple demands
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to quickly learn new programs as required
