**MSAT USP Internship**

**Internship (6 months) - Upstream Process development**

**Internship location: Aubonne, Switzerland**

**Your role**:
A new internship opportunity is currently available within the Manufacturing Science And Technology group.

You will be responsible for the realization of a proof of concept of a USP scale down model for a fertility molecule produced at Aubonne. You'll have to setup the bioreactors according to Internal SOP. Routinely perform IPC and several analysis of the runs. In addition, you will be involved in the development of an innovative tool used for an online analysis of media compounds and produced APIs. On top of these activities, you will be involved in process troubleshooting and investigation team when needed. You will be asked to present your work regularly to internal experts and global scientific community

**Your profile**:

- Student: Master or engineer in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, or similar field of expertise
- Expertise in statistics and modeling tools (preferably SIMCA)
- Sound knowledge in bioprocessing, in particular in cell culture.
- Ability to think autonomously and brainstorm within a team of experts.
- High level of motivation and result oriented scientist.
- Good communication skills in English. French knowledge is highly recommended or willing to learn.
