**Primary Function of Position**:
Based in Aubonne (Switzerland) and tutored by the HR Compliance Analyst, the HR Compliance intern works towards ensuring that all compliance-related legal and regulatory requirements are addressed in HR Operations templates and processes and throughout the design and implementation of HR Policies in EMEA (17 countries).

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Follow up changes in HR legal regulations to proactively inform the team on changes and make recommendations for compliance remediation.
- Support various HR projects related to compliance remediation or implementation of labor law reforms requiring changes in country HR processes or documents (right to disconnect, change of classification levels, update of staff rules )
- Draft templates of HR policies, templates and notices, using good judgement in trying to harmonize whilst respecting the country specificities, on a wide variety of topics such as vacation, sick leave, absences, maternity, remote working, etc.
- Prepare supporting material for internal training.
- Prepare supporting material for information/ consultation / co-determination processes to be followed with works councils, in particular for the CSE in France.
- Contribute to and maintain the knowledge base in all countries.

**Qualifications**:
**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:

- Master’s degree in law with good knowledge of employment law in either Switzerland, Germany, France, the UK, or one Nordic Country and ideally basic knowledge of another European country’s employment law basic rules.
- First experience as an intern in the employment law department of a law firm or in an HR team, in a multicultural environment.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to summarize legal concepts in business-oriented manner,
- Good Microsoft Office skills.
- Well-organized, with a demonstrated ability to work independently, initiate and identify solution whilst prioritizing work and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated and goal oriented individual, passionate about improving business performance
- Excellent written & spoken English; knowledge of French or German would be a plus.
