For our subsidiary Carrier Innovation Technologies, we are looking for a **Global Innovation Director (M/F/d)** in the Kriens/Luzern region on a permanent basis and as soon as possible.

**About the role**:
As **Global Innovation Director (M/F/d)** at Carrier Innovation Technologies, you will be responsible for development and execution a comprehensive innovation strategy, but also coordination and support of innovation hubs worldwide. Your strong communication and presentation skill and experience in innovation processes are critical to ensuring everything runs smoothly and management the team effectively.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with the organization's vision, goals, and market dynamics.
- Identify key innovation opportunities and prioritize initiatives with the global i3 Labs teams to drive business growth.
- Cultivate relationships with startups, entrepreneurs, and innovation hubs to explore collaboration opportunities.
- Facilitate ideation sessions and workshops to generate creative ideas for new products, services, and business models. Lead cross-functional teams to develop and refine concepts into viable innovation projects.
- Foster a culture of innovation by engaging stakeholders across the organization, including executives, employees, customers, and partners. Build relationships with external innovation networks, academia, and industry associations to access expertise and resources.
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of innovation projects, from concept development to commercialization. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Coordinate the prototyping, testing, and validation of innovative solutions with end-users and stakeholders. Gather feedback, iterate on designs, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product-market fit.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with innovation projects, including technical challenges, market uncertainties, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of innovation initiatives. Monitor progress against targets, analyse performance data, and report findings to senior management.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback, conducting post-mortem reviews, and capturing lessons learned from innovation projects. Implement process improvements and best practices to enhance innovation effectiveness.

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) would be an added advantage.
- 10 years of experience in innovation management, corporate venturing, startup collaboration, product development, or strategic planning.
- Proven track record of leading successful innovation projects from ideation to commercialization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project management expertise, including proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Agile-based project approaches is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving change.
