**Category Innovation Lead Nutritionals (M/F/d)**

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The Category Innovation Leader is a key member of the global cross functional Nutritional Health Category team helping to deliver category growth ambition through innovation.

**JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Leads and supports global innovation strategy and critical disruptive innovation initiatives:

- Together with the Innovation Director defines high value, insight-based innovation pipeline of new products services and claims for category disruptive propositions
- Supports development and delivery of mid to long term category innovation roadmap for disruptive innovation
- Leads key strategic innovation projects with high degree of initiative and independence
- Leads cross functional team and ensures alignment of innovation strategy with regulatory and medical strategy/scope of work
- Closely works with regional teams across the globe to build strong cross regional plan for disruptive innovation
- Defines and aligns innovation success models to drive best practice sharing and collaboration
- Drives alignment with global brand teams and partners with key countries to create ambassadorship for innovation pipeline
- Identifies strategic innovation opportunities for the category:

- Defines innovation needs based on consumer, medical and commercial insights
- Actively partners with R&D, Insights, Global Brand leads and key markets for innovations
- Contributes to overall category strategy development and shaping category Innovation pipeline
- Collaborates with R&D team to evaluate opportunities together with markets, and develop business cases for development and launch sequencing
- Analyses global market and key country inputs to draw top level conclusions and recommendations
- Secures leadership alignment and resources

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- Business school or MBA and/or university degree in science
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in OTC and/or FMCG with track record of success
- Business acumen and commercial skills - Analytical and financial management ability with excellent understanding of P&L
- Experienced in developing and launching new products and diversified business models, incubators or start-ups experience are a plus
- Experienced in identifying game changing insights and translating them into consumer winning ideas
- Proven track record of brand management and building brand equity
- Digital know how both in activation and innovation
- International /global role and category experience is desirable
- Strong leadership qualities in cross-cultural environment and cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexible and team-oriented mindset, focused on a common vision and empowerment capabilities
- Strong communicator. Well-rounded English verbal, written and presentation skills, additional languages are a plus
