As part of the ‘General Counsel Wealth Management’ Department in Switzerland, we provide top-notch advice to all our stakeholders, including senior management, and craft tailor-made solutions with a hands-on approach. **YOUR CHALLENGE**:
- Drafting of ‘point of sale’ contracts, in particular advisory and discretionary management agreements.
- Provide ad-hoc, efficient and client-oriented support in the area of investment advice, discretionary management, wealth planning and (cross-border) distribution of financial instruments.
- Translation of complex and sophisticated regulatory requirements into simple business rules
- Cooperation in a wide variety of projects within the bank (including e. g. sustainable finance regulation, MiFID II or FinSA)
- Active collaboration and support of the agile teams.
**YOUR PROFILE**:
- Law degree (Master’s degree or equivalent). Admission to the bar and other qualifications such as an LL.M. are an asset.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience of working in a Swiss or international business law firm or a financial service provider.
- Profound understanding of Swiss banking and contract law as well as the Swiss regulatory landscape.
- Sharp analytical skills, allowing you to translate complex legal matters into easy-to-follow concepts.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as a team-player in groups.
- Ability to perform under pressure and efficiently handle different competing tasks and priorities.
- Good communication skills and a natural capacity to convincingly share ideas.
- Excellent command of English and German. Command of other languages is an asset.
