Our growing group of private schools located in the UK, the USA, Canada, Spain, Italy, Switzerland Costa Rica, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Malaysia, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru and Vietnam educates children and students from 2-18 years of age. We have now expanded to 57 schools that employ over 8,000 staff and deliver multiple curricula to over 46,000 students located across the globe.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversees the overall execution, mission, and efficacy of the ESG/sustainability program and function.
- Be a sustainability advocate that drives positive innovation and change across the Group
- Collaborates with appropriate group, regional and school managers to facilitate performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Strategy and Policy
- Develop and lead the ISP strategy for Environmental Social and Governance (ESG).
- Establish objectives and milestones to achieve short and long-term goals, embedding our strategy within the regions and functions as an integrated part of how we work.
- Prioritize the issues that are most important to ISP and our stakeholders (our students, parents and investors).
- Create and drive engagement opportunities that serve all stakeholders while aligning with ISP’s principles and vision.
- Design and implement a Carbon neutral programme for ISP.
- Design and implement a people-focused ‘Social policy’.
- Assess and analyse company policies and processes to identify areas in and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organizations commitment to sustainability.
Community and Partnerships
- Act as a thought leader in ESG; understand current and future challenges within the sector and educating and prioritizing these issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conducts research to identify environmental and sustainability concerns, interests, and issues.
- Considers sustainability proposals with attention to factors such as cost-effectiveness, feasibility, and ease of integration with other programs.
- Maintains current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all applicable local, state, federal, and internal environmental laws and regulations.
Implementation of Projects and Initiatives
- Develop and execute an overall program/project management, operational, and change management strategy related to ISP’s ESG KPI’s.
- Monitoring ISP’s sustainability performance.
- Work cross-functionally to develop and implement successful marketing, corporate communications, and PR strategies.
- Identifies and facilitates training as needed.
Reporting and Other
- Develop an ESG reporting and work collaboratively across the Group to drive program awareness and communicate program results.
- Drafts and prepares reports, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Develops and maintains appropriate documentation and records including budgets and other financials.
- Create dashboards and reporting to track performance for various audiences
- Develop a collaborative process to obtain key data.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:

- At least 5-7 years of professional experience within ESG or CSR that include driving corporate ESG/CSR initiatives that tie to strategic business objectives; 5 years of team leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Experience building and executing a global program from scratch.
- Consumer Service industry experience is required, education sector experience is desirable.
- Practical and innovative leader with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and results. Ability to balance idealism with pragmatism.
