**Position Summary
The Nestlé Product and Technology Center (NPTC) Nutrition is part of the Nestlé Strategic Business Unit Nutrition. Our mission is to nurture a Healthier Generation. As **I&R Portfolio Manager **, you will act as a trusted co-pilot to the senior leadership team (including those within the Business Unit & Technology Centre), translating the global business strategy into a clearly structured R&D portfolio setting tangible I&R objectives.

You will facilitate strategy execution by leading regular and cross functional portfolio reviews to maximize and deliver the agreed output of the I&R portfolio, ensure alignment with dynamically changing business requirements and provide transparency to support decision making.

Ensuring compliance with internal processes, corporate guidelines and standards will also form part of the role.

**A Day in the Life of a I&R Portfolio Manager
- Collaborate closely with the category leadership teams, the strategy manager and business controller to ensure translation of category business strategy into a clear portfolio structure
- Schedule, prepare and execute impactful I&R portfolio review meetings, including action follow up
- Provide regular I&R portfolio analysis in terms of resources input and portfolio output, highlighting deviation from plan; prepare specific analysis ad hoc and as needed
- Facilitate regular project stage gate meetings together with the Project Management Office lead, ensuring deciders are enabled to take timely, fact based gating decisions
- Contribute to project post launch reviews and incorporate learnings into portfolio targets and project key success criteria
- Contribute to R&D budget building and control, cost allocation and reporting

**What will make you successful
- 3- 5 years in a variety of I&R / R&D roles would be an asset
- Previous experience in Portfolio and/or Project Management is essential
- Previous exposure in a role which facilitates key decision making
- Proven capability to reduce complexity to provide deciders with actionable information
- Demonstrable ability to manage, coordinate and influence key interactions with senior stakeholders, including leading and facilitating key meetings
- The ability to influence and lead without formal authority
- Strong business acumen coupled with excellent analytical and data management skills
