**Position Summary**

At Nestlé Research & Development Konolfingen, near Bern / Switzerland, we develop new products, processes and packaging concepts in the areas of Milk and Nutrition for Nestlé worldwide. In addition, we also provide technical assistance to our factories around the world.

The R&D F&C Center of Competence includes all F&C functions that support R&D in Switzerland. Our mission is to provide financial and operational guidance to the local teams, but also to work in close collaboration with the central accounting department in Vevey. You will have the opportunity to interact with a multi-site, dynamic team

To reinforce the team, we are looking for a
**R&D F&C Controller.**

**A Day in the Life of a R&D F&C Controller**
- Variance reporting management & analyses to support critical business decision to be anticipated & understood potential risks and opportunities
- Support harmonization/Optimization & implementation of new functionalities, tools and solutions to R&D Units
- Act as a NPTC F&C Lead Co-pilot ensuring efficient & accurate forecasting (quarterly LE’s and Operational Budget)
- Support HR function in maintaining people masterplan aligned with mission-based needs and agreed Opex budget
- Advanced analytical & management capabilities to support to NPTCs F&C and Portfolio Management lead
- Coordinate and support project management & functional leads with financial and other resource related data
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills
- Identify areas of risk to achievement of targets and forecasts and develop or follow up action plans
- Provide a high-quality data, timely framework, as well as the reliable measurement of selected key KPI's
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
- Development step to a F&C Lead/Portfolio Lead position

**What will make you successful**
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance and/or Accountancy Qualification
- 6-8 years’ experience in accounting and/or Finance function
- Experience within a network organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be willing to work at least 3 days per week on site
- Fluent in English mandatory, good level of German; any other language is an asset
