Unser Team entwickelt in Frankreich, der Schweiz und Deutschland zukunftsweisende und innovative Lösungen zur Unterstützung digitaler Prozesse. Zur Entwicklung, Integration, Support und Schulung unserer Open Source GIS Software suchen wir für unseren Standort in Bussigny eine-n Junior Software Developer.

**Dein Tag als Technical Consultant**

Du wirst einer der Hauptakteure bei der Integration und Verbesserung von GIS OSS in unseren Kundenprojekten in der Deutschschweiz sein:

- Du unterstützt unsere Kunden bei der Implementierung und Wartung von OSS-basierten GIS-Systemen
- Du sammelst, analysierst und schreibst die Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden auf
- Du richtest die Software so ein, dass sie diese Bedürfnisse optimal erfüllt
- Du testest die Funktionalitäten und präsentierst sie unseren Kunden
- Du unterstützt und schulst die Anwender
- Du scheust dich nicht, die Wünsche unserer Kunden zu hinterfragen, um ihnen die besten Lösungen anzubieten.

Jeden Tag hast du die Möglichkeit, etwas Neues zu lernen, zu sinnvollen Projekten beizutragen und mit deinen Kollegen eine gute Zeit zu verbringen.

**Dein Profil**

**Deine wesentlichen Fähigkeiten für den Erfolg in dieser Rolle**
- Du hast Interesse an Open Source Software und deren Philosophie
- Du bist in der Lage, Skripte in Python oder einer ähnlichen Sprache zu schreiben und anzupassen
- Du fühlst dich wohl im Umgang mit SQL und Datenbanken
- Du hast Spass an der Arbeit in einem multikulturellen Team. Du bist ein Teamplayer, hast Einfühlungsvermögen und kümmerst dich um das Team.
- Du hast gute deutsche und englische Sprachkenntnisse
- Du hast eine gültige Arbeitsbewilligung für die Schweiz.

**Das Sahnehäubchen auf dem Kuchen**

Wenn du dich zudem in den folgenden Punkten wiedererkennst, ist das ein grosses Plus:

- Du hast einen Bachelor/Master-Abschluss in IT, Geographie oder Geomatik
- Du hast Erfahrung mit GIS Open Source Software wie GeoServer, Mapserver, QGIS, PostGIS, usw.
- Du bist in Open Source und/oder Open Data Communities aktiv
- Du bist es gewohnt, unter Linux zu arbeiten
- Du bist vertraut mit Cloud / Kubernetes Technologien
- Du hast Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit dem Java
- oder Python-Technologie-Stack

Geospatial Solutions is specialised in open source based GIS systems. We develop performant and robust systems for the management and efficient use of our customers' spatial data.
Our team is present in France, Switzerland and Germany and we are recruiting a technical consultant at our offices in Olten to meet our development, integration, support and training needs on our open source geospatial software stack.

Your day as a technical consultant
You will be one of the main actors in the integration and improvement of GIS OSS in our customer projects in the german-speaking part of Switzerland:

- You support our customers in the implementation and maintenance of OSS-based GIS systems
- You collect, analyse and write up our customers’ needs
- You set up the software to best meet these needs
- You test the functionalities and present them to our customers
- You support and train the users
- You are not afraid to question our customers’ requests in order to offer them the best solutions.
