Wherever you join our crucial 47,000-strong Operations team, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact. PMI’s shift from selling cigarettes to our new smoke-free products has changed the way we work. New products will need a step change in thinking how we serve our consumers - in the way we source and buy raw materials, in the way we engineer and manufacture, and in our supply chain planning and logistics.

Your ‘day to day’

As an Industrial Strategy Leader, you will work within the strategy & results delivery of the Operations function. This team is the nerve center for operations to help deliver the transformation of PMI towards a smoke-free future portfolio. Driving and managing projects that deliver change service (speed), productivity (cost) and cash. That will unlock resources for PMI and deliver the new portfolio on time to consumers to help accelerate the shift towards a smoke free future portfolio.

You will be developing and conducting analysis (e.g. capacity utilization, financial investments) and supporting the team in the execution of Industrial Strategies projects.

For each project, perform a range of in-depth analysis on capacity utilizations, investment returns, sourcing changes etc.

Collaborate with other department to ensure the roll out of new product innovation or industrial strategy requirement as part of Operations driven programs. Develop sound conclusions based on project methodology and analysis. Present clear and fact-based recommendations to Steering Committee.

We expect the strategy leader to be independent in execution and hold the highest standards of execution.

Who we’re looking for:
Key Experience:

- 3+ years of work experience in a strategy, consulting, finance, or operations area
- Bachelor’s degree from a credible university
- Master’s degree (MS, MBA, etc.) is preferred
- Outstanding track record of performance throughout the career
- Track record to lead and influence mid-management (Experience with senior management is a plus)

Knowledge:

- Advanced Excel modelling knowledge
- All tools used in Operations Strategies (capacity and demand, P&L, NPV calculations, SAP extractions)
- Advanced Knowledge of Finance & Cost Management
- Proficient in English - other languages are an advantage

- Analytical & Data-driven decision skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills according to audience
