We are currently looking for a QC Supervisor to join our Environmental Monitoring & SGIE Team in Visp becoming a part of a fast growing company. This role supervises a team of scientists and specialists in more than one supervisory level (10-15 FTEs). Scientific or technical area of expertise in monitoring and/or analytics is required to support the team for implementation of relevant procedures and processes as well as investigation of OOS results, deviations and implementation of innovations.
Key responsibilities:
- Manages, develops and coaches a team of scientists and specialists
- Management, planning, organization and control of the subordinate teams to perform all required activities to support the corresponding projects/products/routine work
- Preparation, review and approval of monitoring-related documentation (e.g. in DMS and MODA) including writing and/or approval of plans, reports and SOPs
- Analyze and communicate monitoring data. Present them internally and in customer meetings or audits
- Ensure compliance with recognized local and international standards such as ISO and cGMP
Key requirements:
- MSc or PhD degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry or microbiology
- Experience in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry with good level of GMP knowhow is a strong plus
- Fluent in English and German
- Proactive mindset and change readiness
