About the Job
INVESTMENTS
- Support Portfolio Advisors in the review of the investment proposals.
- Support the liaison and coordination with the pipeline team with respect to deal flow proposals.
- Support in the maintenance and update of the Division Pipeline database.
- Prepare compliance checks of transactions prior to disbursements.
- Verify trade tickets regarding disbursements.
- Upload the IC memos in database.
RISK MANAGEMENT
- Monitor compliance of investments with fund’s prospectus, coordinating actions in case of breach.
- Liaise with Risk Units on recovery cases and disseminate the work-out presentations and valuation recommendations to clients.
- Support Portfolio Advisors in obtaining signatures for work-out cases and various contracts.
FUND REPORTING
- Produce the monthly and quarterly risk and impact reports for funds.
- Maintain the monthly portfolio impairment table up-to date.
- Disseminate the monthly FX presentation.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
- Produce the validation of NAV calculations.
- Upload monthly NAV, cash position and share performance in our digital systems.
- Conduct cash management duties.
- Implement the share class and portfolio hedging strategies, liaising with Forex unit to guarantee the integrity of the process.
- Produce the quarterly performance attribution for unhedged funds.
- Support the team during annual closings and audits.
- Support the team in the preparation of dividend payments and early share redemptions.
- Produce the yearly Microfinance label reporting.
GOVERNANCE
- Monitor the management and filing of all fund documentation (prospectus, contracts, et al.) after fund launch and on an ongoing basis.
- Support the production of the documentation for board meetings and circular resolutions.
- Support the Portfolio Advisors in the closing of funds, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders and producing the related documentation.
- Support in the production of the semi-annual fund presentations (data extraction, portfolio analysis)
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Take part in the project to generate more reports from PowerBi.
- Disseminate broker list and prepare allocation file.
- Assist with taking minutes during meetings, general communication and project support to Head of Unit.
Your Qualification
**REQUIREMENTS**:
We are looking for a highly motivated person who is autonomous, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or Business or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in either finance, banking or impact investing.
- You have a demonstrated interest in emerging markets and/or impact finance.
- You have a good understanding of accounting principles and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience in PowerBi is a strong plus.
- You are comfortable with client facing and with working in an international and multi-cultural workplace.
- You pride yourself in providing a great client experience.
- You are adept and agile to perform in a fast-paced environment, and managing competing demands and priorities.
- You have a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- You are able to work comfortably in both English and French. Other languages such as German or Spanish would be a plus.
- Swiss/EU National or valid Swiss Work Permit is required.
