Key responsibilities:
- Deliver process know-how, scientific expertise as well as operational excellence with regard to biopharma API production
- Ensure right first time process technology transfer and manufacturability in cooperation with the project cross-functional team (PD, Ops, QA, QC, etc.)
- Change control management
- Support production campaigns and leading process troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor as needed
- Process optimization by regular data analysis and compilation of CPV and APQR with the support of the data manager
- Improve workflows and production assets by driving relevant innovation projects
Key requirements:
- Master or PhD (preferred) in Bioconjugation, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines with a focus on organic chemistry
- Significant (multi-year) experience in Bioconjugation methodologies, biopharma manufacturing and / or process development, preferably in the area of Bioconjugates
- Hands-on experience with downstream processing, such as chromatography and filtration techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound technical decisions.
- cGMP experience and deep understanding of Bioprocess technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional teams environment.
- Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
- Creative, agile, open-minded
