MSAT Bioconjugates Process Specialist

At Lonza, we're committed to harnessing the power of science to improve lives. As a MSAT Bioconjugates Process Expert, you'll play a vital role in our Biologics organization, supporting the growth project Vibe-X, a customer-dedicated plant for a conjugated vaccine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver process know-how, scientific expertise, and operational excellence in biopharma API production.
  • Ensure seamless process technology transfer and manufacturability in collaboration with the project cross-functional team.
  • Manage change control and support production campaigns as needed.
  • Lead process troubleshooting on the manufacturing floor and drive process optimization through data analysis.
  • Improve workflows and production assets by driving innovation projects.

Requirements:

  • Master's or PhD in Bioconjugation, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines with a focus on organic chemistry.
  • Significant experience in Bioconjugation methodologies, biopharma manufacturing, and/or process development, preferably in Bioconjugates.
  • Hands-on experience with downstream processing, such as chromatography and filtration techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound technical decisions.
  • cGMP experience and deep understanding of Bioprocess technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage.
