Private Banking Assistant

**Your team**:
- Pictet North America Advisors provides investment services to private clients, families and institutional investors. Founded in 2007, the SEC-registered company devises portfolio diversification strategies for clients based in the US and Canada.
- We are seeking to recruit a Private Banking Assistant for its US clients (UHNWI). You will be working for PNAA in Zurich and be the point of entry for all operational requests from bankers or clients.**Your role**:
- Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Assisting the CRM with daily client-related tasks (debit list, maturities, etc.).
- Processing payments and transfers while ensuring that call-backs are systematically performed and helping with other transactional activity when needed.
- Leading the end-to-end account-opening process, taking into account the local regulatory specificities that dictate the documentation requirements.
- Ensuring strict follow-up of documentation (pending items, Middle Office, Risk & Compliance lists) by contacting clients, together with the banker responsible for the relationship.
- Managing documentation flows (archiving and processing physical and electronic forms).
- Processing workflow requests in the systems (client codifications, credit card requests, credit lines, pricing exceptions, etc.) and ensuring that the relevant client documentation is captured in the systems (memos, orders, etc.).
- Working closely with the zone’s COO and CCO to resolve any Risk & Compliance matters.
- Leading and organising the prioritisation and remediation of Key Risk Indicators within the team.
- Building close relationships and an understanding with the relevant internal stakeholders (Middle
- Office, Risk & Compliance, etc.) and serving as their point of contact for the team.
- Ensuring that all telephone calls received by the team are dealt with.
- Helping with administrative tasks when required.
**Your profile**:
- Certification in Commerce/Banking, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as an assistant working in private banking.
- Service orientated, with experience and understanding of dealing with private clients and assisting relationship managers.
- Understanding client documentation and the internal processes of a wealth manager.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and diligently.
- Reliable and resilient with a strong sense of responsibility and an ability to multi-task.
- Solution oriented and with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Keen sense of ethics, values and partnership culture.
- Strong team spirit.
- Fluency in English; French and German would be a plus.
- Must be resident in Switzerland.
