**Position Summary**

At Nestlé Research and Development in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland, we develop for Nestlé worldwide new products, processes and packaging concepts for a broad range of products of our Nutrition, Dairy, Health Science and Coffee businesses. In addition, we also provide technical assistance to our factories.

As an R&D Platform Lead Early Life Nutrition, you will oversee and implement the strategic project portfolio, as well as various projects related to S&T, Clinical Research, Sustainability, and Packaging, in alignment with GBS goals. You will ensure that projects are delivered from start to finish by effectively utilizing resources within a matrix organization, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to budgetary constraints. Approximately 40% of your role will involve strategic planning, while the remaining 60% will focus on project execution.

**A Day in the Life of an R&D Platform Lead Early Life Nutrition**
- Contribute to defining and implementing the Preterm strategic project portfolio for sustainable growth and profitability.
- Identify specific projects in S&T, clinical research, sustainability, and packaging to support brand needs.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for delivering R&D innovation and renovation projects on time, within budget, and smoothly into operations.
- Allocate resources from relevant functions to execute the project portfolio.
- Identify and engage external partners, such as universities, research institutes, and suppliers, and define innovation opportunities to deliver against brand ambitions.
- Create differentiating intellectual property (IP) through project execution.
- Share innovation knowledge and opportunities with other brand leads.
- Enable results through leadership, coaching, and development of project team members, fostering collaboration within and across R&D units, technical and business units, and external partners.

**What will make you successful**
- Minimum 10 years of international experience in R&D, of which minimum 2-3 years of End-to-End project management.
- Relevant work experience in the Preterm category.
- Proven track record in translating scientific concept into relevant commercial success.
- Successfully led a larger group of people and developed people as a project manager or team leader/group manager.
- Worked a matrix like structure in a functionally structured environment.
- Ability to manage resources and budget requirements.
- Proven communication skills at all levels within the organization.
- Experience in working with NICU a plus.
