**Your role**
The Business Data Strategy Leadis a member of the Data Strategy & Digital Innovation team in Global Development Operations. He/she is supporting the Head of Data Strategy & Digital Innovation in the definition of the data & digital strategy and data acquisition roadmap based on overall business strategy and priorities. He/she is an internal expert on identifying business requirements in the context of clinical operations. With this he/she supports value creation and data driven decision making.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Work with the Head of Data Strategy & Innovation to develop and implement the data strategy & digital innovation roadmap.
- Champion and maintain governance principles (goals, objectives, priorities, scope) for all clinical trial related activities.
- Partner with stakeholders across different R&D functions to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business decisions and business process optimization.
- Coach the organization around standard practices for data collection, transformation, quality testing and storage.
- Work closely with Head of Data Strategy & Digital Innovation to develop and implement Clinical Trial Sourcing Data Strategy Roadmap
- Develop and maintain knowledge of internal and external data and analytics landscape to leverage new technologies and advances

**Who you are**
- At least 10 years of experience in drug development in pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead large, complex projects from concept to on-time delivery
- History of success in a customer facing role with demonstration of meeting customer expectations
- Experience working on data driven initiatives
- Extensive experience preparing and presenting complex ideas and data
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly, persuade, negotiate, and moderate conflict
- Demonstrated high level of enthusiasm for data driven decision making
- Requires a keen balance of project management and team leadership expertise, to influence as an individual contributor, while working across the business globally
