At a Glance:
We are looking for a truly experienced Platform Product Manager to shape the future of On's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business by evolving our underlying e-commerce platform, addressing current and emerging digital experience needs.

You will work directly with other Product managers, Engineers and Business Stakeholders to shape On's DTC platform roadmap, within either the offices in Zurich or Berlin and, of course, wherever you want to work between the office days as we support a hybrid office model.

Your Team:
You will be part of an engineering team inside the DTC Digital product organization. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining our e-commerce platform and enabling feature development teams to work more effectively and efficiently. The team will be composed of software and quality assurance engineers to help you drive the roadmap further.

Beyond your team, you will work closely with the other engineering teams and business stakeholders, including digital marketing, data analytics, and regional groups, to identify and align priorities across the platform.

Your Mission:

- Engage with all users of the platform and translate the strategy initiatives into thorough plans over different time frames
- Provide clarity on the mission, vision and goals for the e-commerce platform
- Drive the decision on build vs. buy for the platform’s capabilities with the rest of the team
- Help the platform engineering team with quarterly planning exercises by leveraging the prioritization framework adopted by the team
- Create a transparent roadmap by coordinating with platform stakeholders and making sure everyone has a shared understanding of upcoming feature developments
- Improve the product development process within the organisation through contribution and feedback
- Promote experimentation culture within the organisation by leveraging quantitative and qualitative insights from customers

Your Story:

- You have at least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner with engineering teams in the sports industry, app development, SaaS, e-commerce or consulting.
- You understand the platform approach to product development, and are excited by the power of platforms within an organisation
- You understand the technology behind e-commerce and are comfortable interacting with 3rd party technology partners
- You have an outstanding track record of solving problems within tech organisations, consulting, or in an agency
- You enjoy the process of joining an early stage of a new team and crafting structure out of chaos for yourself and your team members
- You are fluent in connecting technology with business outcomes using data
