Team Lead Biochemistry Lab, Analytical Development

**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead the AD Mammalian Biochemistry team focusing on biochemical methods (ELISA, Gyrolab, qPCR, SPR, etc.), including recruiting, training, and mentoring your team members
- Manage the project portfolio with an emphasis on the assigning work packages, coordinating available resources, and monitoring lab capacity under tight time and resource constraints
- Support team members with the design of experimental plans, and data analysis, as well as review and approval of development reports (Provide strong scientific and technical leadership at project level.)
- Foster the generation and collection of high-quality data, including performing data analysis and interpretation of results, as well as the creation of protocols, reports, and SOPs
- Conduct investigations of unexpected results and troubleshooting in the laboratory
- Collaborate within interdisciplinary project teams to perform various studies and provide scientifically sound solutions to complex problems.
- Implement of continuous improvements and roll-out of new technical solutions
**Key requirements**:
- Vocational training as a laboratory technician and extensive professional experience
- or scientific degree in biochemistry, biology or related field and substantial professional experience
- Previous work experience in analytical laboratories and/or in the industry with a focus on protein analysis (e.g. ELISA, Gyrolab, qPCR, SPR)
- Ideally you already have experience in leading a team
- Knowledge in method development is an added advantage
- Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is required, German is an advantage
