**Your role**
- Do you have in-depth knowledge of investment funds universe and its risks? Do you like working in a
- diverse team, collaborating with various stakeholders in an international environment? Do you want to
- support a wider team across locations to further develop our investment risk oversight framework and
- grow in your role?
- We're looking for Team Lead - Investment Risk Control to:
- Lead and manage the investment risk control team of the Swiss management company (ManCo)
- Oversee production of a monthly investment risk report that is shared with Executive Board and

Board of directors- Ongoing monitoring of market, credit, liquidity and sustainability risk of investment funds
- Assess and escalate limit exceedances to the responsible body according the FMCH Risk

Management Directive- Identify and analyze risk contributors and monitor limits on an ongoing basis
- Support and collaborate in international initiatives/projects within the Risk Control Group function
- Support development and validation of risk models applied in investment risk control- Implement and maintain the FMCH collateral strategy and the FMCH Risk Management Directive
- Support our Asset Management businesses on new product launches and risk

assessment/approval of new funds

**Your team**
- You’ll be working in the ManCo Risk Management team in Basel. The team is responsible for overseeing
- investment risks at product/investment fund level for the Swiss domiciled UBS and White label funds. As
- an Investment Risk Controller you'll work closely with your peers in other locations as well as with our
- product developers/managers, portfolio managers, legal, etc. to fulfill the regulatory obligations of the
- management company, maintain an efficient risk framework and ensure an accurate reporting to the
- management board and the board of directors.

**Your expertise**
- Ideally over 5 years' financial sector experience with a focus on investment funds
- Some leadership and people management experience
- In-depth professional experience in the environment and in handling of market-, credit
- and

liquidity risks
- Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management techniques, including concepts such as

Value at Risk (VaR) and stress testing
- Good understanding of ESG and broader sustainability risks identification, measurement and

management
- Proficient knowledge of financial products, investment funds and portfolio management
- Good understanding of the Swiss/UCITS regulatory environment on investment funds
- Strong coordination and communication skills with ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving

environment
- Proficient in German and English, any additional language is an advantage
- University degree or equivalent education in economics, finance, mathematics or physics
- R/Python and/or other programming skills preferable
- CFA charter, GARP Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR)
