Downstream Manufacturing Team Lead

As a Manufacturing Team Leader, you will spearhead a dynamic team of Manufacturing Associates, orchestrating day-to-day operations with precision and a steadfast commitment to **cGMP compliance** and safety standards. Your role is crucial in upholding the integrity of our manufacturing processes, serving as a linchpin for technical problem-solving and fostering an environment of continuous improvement and cross-functional synergy.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Operational Leadership**: Guide and synchronize daily manufacturing operations, ensuring seamless communication of schedule adjustments and proactive resolution of operational challenges.
- **Quality and Compliance**: Champion the rigorous adherence to cGMP standards throughout all manufacturing activities, from batch execution to equipment troubleshooting, while also leading the charge in drafting and revising critical manufacturing documentation.
- **Team Development**: Cultivate a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion, hiring and nurturing a team that exemplifies our core values and commitment to excellence. Set clear objectives and development trajectories for each team member, fostering an environment of professional growth and mutual respect.
- **Collaborative Excellence**: Act as a manufacturing ambassador in cross-functional teams, ensuring harmonious collaboration with adjacent departments to optimize production efficiency and quality.
**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: At least 7 years in a leadership role within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related manufacturing sectors, with a proven track record in process optimization and team management.
- **Education**: A Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field, supplemented by a deep understanding of cGMPs and production unit operations.
- **Skills**: Exceptional managerial acumen, coupled with a thorough understanding of manufacturing equipment and the scientific principles underpinning production processes. **Lean/Agile certification** will be highly recommended. Outstanding communication skills are essential, with proficiency in English and/or German.
