**This position reports to**:
Global Business Line Manager Switchgear

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role you will report to the business line Medium Voltage Switchgear Leader, belonging to the Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) Division. You will lead the Portfolio team by creating and leading the implementation of an offering product strategy to align with and support the relevant business strategy. Each day, you will drive the allocation of resources across the portfolio of Switchgear product lines, in collaboration with other relevant functions, to ensure that each product line has the capability to execute its own strategic plans. You will also showcase your expertise by monitoring the offering portfolio to ensure that a healthy mix and vitality is maintained. The work model for the role is: hybrid/ Global You will be mainly accountable for: - Structuring and organizing Portfolio team (from recruiting to staffing and defining content focus) according to the priorities and capabilities required for achieving the Business Line strategic targets - Defines Product Portfolio roadmaps, including new product development and evolution of existing portfolio, in line with Customer’s expectations and market trends, based on the business line strategy plan. - Sets priorities for technology centers and oversees execution of product development projects - Drives cross functional projects assuring cost optimization and product profitability - Supports the product management organization by providing necessary infrastructure for the optimal execution of core tasks like business and performances tracking, roadmap planning, lifecycle management, among others. This position reports to Business Line Switchgear Leader

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Product Portfolio Strategy: Expertise in defining and managing the product portfolio roadmap, including setting priorities based on market needs, business objectives, and technological advancements. Ability to align the product portfolio with overall company strategy and drive product innovation.
- Technology Management: Strong understanding of technology trends and their impact on product development. Experience in setting priorities for research and development (R&D), managing technology roadmaps, and ensuring that technological resources are effectively allocated to meet strategic goals.
- Cross-Functional Project Management Proven ability to manage and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive cost-out initiatives and optimize project execution.
- Leadership and Team Development: Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including R&D, product management, and other key functions. Ability to mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative environment that drives high performance and innovation.
- Regulatory and Compliance Awareness: Understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to product development and technology management.
- Proven experience in leadership roles
