**Internship - Process expert in MSAT**
to support production process control, improvement and troubleshooting
**Start date**: Summer 2024
**Duration **:1 year
**Location**: Corsier-sur-Vevey
**Your role**:
Within the MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) Process Expertise team, you will support our biotechnology production processes from cell culture in bioreactors (USP) to purification (DSP); you will participate in projects to improve the performance or the control of our processes, perform trouble shooting and investigation, introduce new technologies and maintain our process documentation, such as process control strategies, up to date. Your daily work will consist of a mix of mid term projects, such as evaluation and implementation of process changes and Process Analytical Tools (PAT) and unplanned requests to support to investigations in case of deviations in the GMP manufacturing.
**Your profile**:
- Student (Master or Eng) in Biotechnology, Life science or Chemical engineering.
- Previous experience with mammalian cell culture, biotechnology processes for production of monoclonal antibodies and data interpretation based on statistical analysis,
- Good knowledge of antibody purification technic
- Basic knowledge of statistic tools and DOE. Proficiency in MS Office.
- High level of motivation, good analytical view, ability to switch quickly to new activities Good communication skills, oral and written (English and French)
