**Internship DSP : Water consumption rationalization for monoclonal antibodies production**

When : July or August 2023

Duration : 6 months

**Your role**:
As part of the Global Drug Substance Development, you will join a team of motivated scientists dedicated to develop and optimise process for production of new biological therapeutics. In an effort to save raw material consumption as well as money/time, a project of water rationalization in DSP process was initiated in a previous internship. The promising results of the first studies support our desire to dedicate more resources to this topic.

Your role will be first to take over this project by consolidating and validating previous results. In a second time you'll explore new possibilities of reducing water consumption in DSP process, without affecting purification performance. In order to lead this project, you will work closely with R&D department and production to develop at small scale viable solution implementable at large scale. Laboratory experiment, bibliographic research and collaboration between departments are a key for the success of this project. You will be trained to be autonomous and will have the opportunity to present your work during various meetings.

**Your profile:
- Master/engineer student in biotechnology related fields
- Highly motivated and autonomous
- Ability to conceptualize, solve complex challenges, and communicate about your project
- Great team spirit
- Previous experience in DSP is a plus
- Good written and oral knowledge in English, French is a plus
