- **Laboratory Technician**

**Laboratory Technician biotechnology**:
**Your mission**:
The Laboratory is driven by the passion of expanding nature’s repertoire by designing novel functional proteins to be used for practical purposes such as therapeutics, vaccines, biosensors and others**.**

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic laboratory technician with at least 2 years of practical experience, ideally full-time employment (100%)

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- The lab technician will be involved in the lab management and in the different research projects of the lab, providing support and expertise to the scientists in different areas:
- Tissue culture
- Molecular biology
- Protein expression in bacterial and mammalian systems, purification and biophysical characterization
- Animal experimentation, sample processing and characterization (ELISA, ELISPOT, FACS, etc.)

**Your profile**:

- An apprenticeship certificate in biology (Federal Certificate of Capacity or equivalent)
or BSc in related fields, with at least 3 years of practical experience
- Experience with FPLC / AKTA purification platforms
- Experience with HPLC systems
- Knowledge in protein production and biophysical characterization (CD, SPR, ELISA, BLI, SEC-MALS, )
- Experience with animal experiment (module 1 would be a plus)
- Experience in laboratory management, database management for plasmid and reagents
- Good communication skills in English
