**Contexte**:
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of five Swiss university hospitals. Through its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and the EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in the areas of medical care, medical research and training.

Our numerous collaborations and partnerships, including Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) and Swiss Cancer Center Léman (SCCL), place our Department on the world map of oncology, with a specific focus on immuno-oncology research.

The mission is to accelerate the connection between the laboratory and the patient to design novel therapeutic solutions. Our multi-disciplinary teams of experts composed of doctors, clinicians, biologists, immunologists, bioinformaticians and bioengineers, as well as our administrative units, show an exemplary commitment and extraordinary dedication to the cause of cancer, combining collective intelligence and inspiration. **Mission**:
As part of your mission, you will be required to:

- **Develop** vaccines and **immunomodulatory** **studies** and perform in **vitro experiments**:

- **Analyse** and **present** the **experimental results** during lab meetings
- **Supervise**, teach and **advise** **lab members** (PhD students, post-docs and technicians)
- **Develop** **animal licensing protocols** and **procedures**:

- **Prepare research project budget** and **track expenses**:

- **Prepare** and **submit research articles** and **reviews**:

- Actively **seek research grants to apply**, **in consultation** with the **principal investigator**.

**Profil**:

- **PhD in immunology and molecular pathology** or equivalent
- You have a **strong experience** (from **5 to 10 years**) in **research** and in the s**upervision of PhD students, post-docs** and **technicians**:

- You have **good knowledge in cell culture, immunological techniques, histology, cytology and histopathology**:

- You are **fluent in French and English**, both **written** and **spoken** (**C1 level**)
- You have a **good command of the usual computer tools** (Microsoft Office)
- **Proactive** and with **very goods analytical and synthesis skills**, you are **able** to **organise** and **manage** **your time and priorities**:

- **Curious** you like **developing continuously** your **knowledge /skills**
