**Job Description**:
The Oetiker Corporate Development team is responsible for all aspects of the corporate development M&A workflow, including the identification, evaluation and execution of acquisition, partnership, joint-venture, strategic investment and divestiture transactions across all geographies and segments of the Oetiker Group. As Corporate Development Associate, you are responsible for building a proactive pipeline of acquisition, partnership and strategic investment opportunities and for supporting the execution of deals. You will also be involved in post-merger integration activities at acquired companies and lead selected strategic projects and growth initiatives.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research in defined search fields and compile information on market structure, trends, key players etc.
- Develop detailed financial models and support target valuation analyses and business case modelling
- Coordinate and manage due diligence activities with internal and external parties and prepare finding reports for due diligence committee meetings
- Assist in preparing and negotiating term sheets, letter of intents, final offers, purchase agreements, partnership agreements etc.
- Prepare presentations and analyses on various topics for senior management
- Work on other strategic projects and growth initiatives

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics or similar quantitative field
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in corporate development, M&A consulting or private equity
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English and German, any other languages are a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized and a self-starter - able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritize based on business needs and urgency
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills - able to communicate and work effectively with stakeholders across multiple locations and business functions
