Research Associate

Numab Therapeutics AG is an expanding, clinical stage Swiss biotech company based in Horgen, canton of

Zürich. The company is focused on the discovery and development of novel, antibody fragment-based

therapeutics. With our breakthrough antibody-discovery and multi-specifics engineering platform, we are

committed to the development of differentiated therapeutics with a focus on helping oncology patients in need.

To expand and develop Numab’s proprietary immune-oncology therapeutics pipeline we are looking for a highly

motivated and experienced individual for a scientific role in our Computational Biology / Protein Engineering

team.

**Research Associate / Scientist Bioinformatics**

In this position, you will contribute to identify best-in-class scFvs and drive Numab’s projects towards

development. You will be responsible for sequence and structure analysis for antibody engineering.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Implementing and utilizing state-of-the-art in silico methods to gain insights from antibody sequences
- Developing and expanding the in silico pipeline to support selection and engineering of antibody
- Analysis of in silico and related experimental data sets

**Your Skills and Professional Experience**:

- MSc or PhD in bioinformatics, chemistry, biochemistry, structural biology, computational biology, or

equivalent education in combination with (industrial) experience,
- Working knowledge of state-of-the-art bioinformatics and antibody sequence analysis tools,
- Experience and proven expertise in analysis of large datasets including Next Generation Sequencing

(NGS) data,
- Experience in carrying out multiple sequence alignments, phylogenetic analysis, similarity analysis as

well as processing, quality control and statistical analysis of biological data sets,
- Experience in modeling, visualization and analysis of protein structures and experience with docking and

molecular dynamics of antibody molecules (e.g. Discovery Studio, Schrödinger, MOE, Rosetta),
- Experience in using Unix/Linux systems and writing scripts (Shell, Python, R)
