You will support the Market Risk Analytics (MRA) team, Group Investment Management, on the reporting of market risk. This will include assisting in the enhancement of quantitative tools for a range of portfolio metrics required for reporting and quality control tasks, but also conducting analysis and reporting tasks within the market risk production.

**What you will do**
- Work with members of the MRA team to support the reporting and quality control of market risk
- Undertake Python programming and SQL/Spark SQL database interaction to develop and enhance auditable reporting and quality control tools
- Generate and validate standard reports on market risk independently
- Support ad-hoc analysis to understand results and verify changes
- Support the preparation of technical documentation of productive tools

**What you bring**
- Student recently enrolled in a Master program in quantitative finance or a similarly quantitative field with strong programming focus
- Experience in programming ideally in Python and SQL
- Strong oral & written communication skills
- Responsible and detail-oriented
- Interest in quantitative finance and financial risk modelling
- Business fluent in English
- Given the current situation, we might offer this job opportunity virtually. Key stakeholders are based in Zurich, Switzerland
- Considering also the current travel restrictions, you must be located in Switzerland or able to travel and base yourself in Switzerland for the duration of the working student contract
