Inside Sales Account Representative

About the job:
The Red Hat Inside Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join us in Switzerland. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, as well as growing relationships with new and existing customers. You'll deliver forecasts on a weekly and quarterly basis and track customer data. In this highly collaborative role, you will also work with internal and external partners to grow our business and build solutions that serve the best interests of our customers and Red Hat. You will mainly serve the Swiss German region, therefore, you will need to be fluent in German, and ideally in English as well.
What you will do:
- Sell Red Hat’s offerings, systems, and services
- Work on sales activities to identify new projects and contacts with customers
- Work on projects from qualification, preparation of offers, follow-up, and completion of the project
- Promote Red Hat customer events
- Qualifyleads and new accounts
- Sell Red Hat’s offerings through multi-channel routes to market, e.g., direct end customer, channel, original equipment manufacturer (OEM), etc.
- Understand customer needs
- Be responsible for entering and maintaining the data and offers in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Be responsible for creating offers
- Be responsible for pipeline management
- Follow up of offers with the customer
- Book won deals
- Support in the acquisition of customer data and information and their analysis, e.g., account planning, white space analysis
- Serve as a point of contact for support teams, e.g., Deal Desk, Finance, Partners and Alliances (P+A), Legal
What you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar technology or software sales support position in outside sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or sales administration, with a record of meeting sales goals
- Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospect to close
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain and provide a premium customer service
- Ability to work as part of a team, highly collaborative attitude
