Due to the significant growth and future expansion of Lonza’s biologics manufacturing operations network, we have a vacancy for a Single-Use Technologies (SUT) Expert. This position will become part of the global SUT SME team and will support the definition, development and implementation of global standards, tools and innovation in Single-Use Technologies used in clinical and commercial manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:

- Subject Matter Expert for Single-Use Technologies (SUT)
- Responsible to provide SME technical leadership and know-how directly with cross-functional teams across the Lonza Biologics operations network
- Develop, maintain and optimize tools in support of global SUT management. Drive implementation of global standards across the Lonza network and through close interaction and collaboration with the sites and project teams
- Prepare technical documentation to aid, e.g. with the assessment of Vendor Change Notifications related to Single-Use materials
- Accountable to establish an internal and external network to maintain technical and compliance knowledge and know-how consistent with the role objectives

Key requirements:

- Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent / higher with experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of the complexity of Supply Chain aspects related to Single-Use Technologies.
- Experienced with relevant programming and software (Visual Basic, Power BI, Power Automate, Visio Professional, MatLab)
- Excellent teamwork skills and experience in cross-functional project management with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and effective decision-making
