**Your responsibilities**:

- The Global Senior Procurement Category Manager Contingent Labor plans and leads all strategic aspects within the category of External Workforce Management (Labor Lease, Freelancer Management, Permanent Recruitment, on a global - yet locally impactful - level and develops proposals for strategic business decisions.
- The company engages with a several externals in various engagement models in manufacturing sites, development centres, country sales organizations and head-quarter functions.
- The role provides high value procurement solutions (VMS, freelancer platforms, prime & master vendor solutions) to the business.
- Supports and leads third party vendor selections, vendor development, technology management and performance measurement activities.
- The role ensures best-in-class engagement of externals (labor, SOW and permanent recruitment).
- The role will support projects and realize year-on-year productivity improvements, cost savings, and process improvements in close collaboration with our stakeholders in functions. Ensuring proper communication and sharing of Procurement knowledge within the stakeholder group.
- Implement category strategy and create value for the organization. Understanding and projecting market dynamics and related impacts (e.g. mergers and acquisitions, disruptions) and perform required adjustments to category or sourcing strategies as needed.
- Demand management; Understanding and challenging demand patterns and drive change management to extract further value. Validating make-or-buy decisions.
- Sourcing and Supplier Relationships management: Managing Supplier Relationships throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Planning and executing Supplier Segmentation in line with company, business and Procurement objectives.

**Your profile**:

- Education: University/Advanced level degree needed. Master's Degree/other advanced degree in the Economics, Finance or related areas is preferred.
- 8 years of relevant business experience (industry specific experience). Preferably more than 8 years of experience in Procurement or other related experience within the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably in category management, supplier management, or related area.
- Strong project management or other leadership experience.
- Languages: English (excellence in speaking and writing), additional languages desirable.
